Relax with the whole family at this peaceful beach lodge! Is it a treehouse? Beach house? Cabin? Feels like all the above! This gorgeous 1980s build has the feel of a treehouse, tucked back from the hwy, and only 1/2 mile to the beach, giving our guests the best of everything! Bring Fido and the fam to this rustic lodge that sleeps 5-6 guests. Cook up some burgers on the grill, and enjoy rocking the night away on the front porch swing. Enjoy the residential neighborhood- perfect for pups & play!

The space

Built in the 1980s, this home has been refurbished to reflect a vintage cabin/lodge with all the modern conveniences of the 2020s.

The master suite houses a queen bed, blackout curtains, and a smart TV with en-suite bathroom access. The second bedroom contains a twin over queen bunk, perfect for families who need the extra sleeping space. Each bathroom contains a heater for post-shower warmth on a cool day.

Look out any of the windows and see trees! Trees surround this property on all sides and the landscaping has been kept as natural as possible to truly feel like you’re tucked back in the woods, yet you’re sooooo close to the beach (as of 2025, some trees have been cut down on the lot next to ours, but plenty remain).

The kitchen has been fully renovated and redesigned to open the entire common area up to entertain the whole family, whether you’re streaming movies, whipping up an eclectic meal in the fully stocked kitchen, or playing board games around the original wood & leather kitchen table, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in this beautiful cedar home.

Ride in style around our beach streets with a golf cart (recommendations available), and take Fido for a walk through the safe and quiet residential neighborhood. This home is right around the corner from Sugar Life Ice Cream and Candy Shop, just a half mile walk or golf cart ride to the closest public beach access, and just over a mile to Food Lion, the closest grocery store. Please note- While the home is mostly peaceful and secluded, it is situated one block from a main highway through the grand strand, and some traffic noise can be heard at times. Please ask for additional information if this is a concern.

Also note that this listing is for the upper portion of the home only. It is a duplex, and there is a high probability that guests will be staying in the lower unit. Each level has its own private entrance.

Guest access

The entire second floor of the home and right side of the driveway are yours for the duration of your stay. Please note there is a full one bedroom unit below, which may be occupied by other guests, so please mind noise levels during sleeping hours. For more privacy, inquire about booking the entire home- we have a separate listing which includes both units- perfect for families with adult children, couples traveling together, or a great place for the elderly who cannot make it up the steps but still want to be with family.

*THE RESERVATION HOLDER MUST BE 25+ AND PRESENT AT THE HOME (booking on behalf of someone else is prohibited)

*GUESTS MAY NOT HAVE MORE THAN 4 VEHICLES ON THE PROPERTY (please make arrangements with your group prior to arrival to ensure no more than 4 vehicles are on the property per booking- additional vehicles will be asked to find parking elsewhere)

*ALL GUESTS MUST EXCHANGE MESSAGES WITH HOSTS BEFORE BOOKING (we like to get to know our guests to ensure we host quality groups who will treat our property with respect)

*HOST RESERVES THE RIGHT TO VERIFY ID'S OF ALL GUESTS IN THE HOME AT ANY TIME UPON REQUEST

*NO UNREGISTERED/UNDECLARED VISITORS ALLOWED ON OR INSIDE THE HOME AT ANY TIME (for insurance reasons, only guests who are declared prior to arrival will be allowed at this vacation home)

*NO UNDISCLOSED ANIMALS (we are pet-friendly with an additional nightly rate of $25 pending approval from the hosts... any pets "snuck in" will result in a $100 fee in addition to the nightly pet rent)

*ANIMALS/CHILDREN ARE NOT TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE YARD AT ANY TIME

*BATH TOWELS ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY. THEY ARE NOT TO BE USED AS BEACH TOWELS, ETC

*MAIL IS NOT TO BE REMOVED FROM THE MAILBOX (for monthly stays, please obtain a PO Box from the local post office)

*QUIET HOURS FROM 10PM-8AM (maintaining the peace with our neighbors is a high priority- guests causing disturbances around the neighborhood will be asked to leave the property immediately, forfeiting the reservation, and will not be eligible for a refund)

*NO SMOKING/VAPING/DRUGS/UNDERAGE DRINKING OF ANY KIND ON OR INSIDE THE PROPERTY (we reserve the right to remove your entire group immediately if we find this is happening during your stay)

*DO NOT LEAVE WINDOWS OR DOORS OPEN

*GUESTS AGREE TO VACATE THE PROPERTY ON END DATE STATED ON RESERVATION. HOSTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REGAIN POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY THE SAME DAY. GUESTS WHO REFUSE TO VACATE THE PROPERTY BY CHECKOUT TIME WILL BE CONSIDERED TO BE TRESPASSING.

Loved the location! Walkable to the beach and right on the backside of the main strip. We could get practically anywhere in minutes.

The house was very nice and cozy, perfect for our weekend stay. It had everything we needed to make breakfast. There were plenty of towels and wash clothes. Very comfortable and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed this place for the couple of nights we stayed. It is a quiet little spot but right off of the main strip, so it is a short drive to everything. Fairly priced and had all of the necessary amenities for cooking some small meals as well. We would definitely consider staying here again. Just an FYI to future guests, there is another unit below you where someone can stay simultaneously, but there is plenty of room to park etc.
